Collector's market

Signed and race-worn helmets for sale

What collectors are bidding on right now: signed replicas, numbered editions and race-used helmets, listed by driver. Each driver links to every design in the archive, so you can check that the helmet in a listing matches the race it claims.

Before you bid

• Match the design. Open the driver's archive page and compare the listing with the helmet from that race or season. A "Monaco helmet" that looks like the season design is a replica of the wrong lid.
• Ask for paperwork. A certificate of authenticity, a photo of the signing, and the edition number for limited runs.
• Replica or race-worn? Most signed helmets are replicas with a signature. Race-worn helmets come with team or driver provenance and cost many times more.

Looking for a replica instead?

Unsigned replicas, from LEGO sets to full-size display helmets, are covered in the F1 replica guide and the gift guide. Every helmet page in the archive also has its own replica section.
