The story

Diwali falls on race day at Interlagos, so Lindblad will mark it with a helmet that celebrates his Indian heritage. A rangoli pattern, based on rangoli he has made at home in past years, runs across the top and down the sides, with a diya worked into the design, a lotus flower and fireworks on the front and rear, and a Phulkari-inspired base in tribute to his grandmother's Punjabi heritage. Lindblad said he was closely involved in the design. His grandparents attend the race, their first Grand Prix.
