The story
Hirakawa made his Formula 1 debut at the 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix, replacing Esteban Ocon at Haas from third practice onwards, and raced in a helmet designed by his daughter; he said he was racing "carrying those feelings" too. Excélsior described hand-drawn hearts and stars on a white base.
