The story

Vettel's first Ferrari helmet was a simple white Arai design by Jens Munser with an off-centre German tricolour stripe running front to back, his personal logo on one side, a Cavallino silhouette on the other and the number 5 on top; Munser said they kept the white of the helmet Vettel had used at his first Ferrari test in November and added the German colours so he would be better recognised, and Vettel's camp denied any link to Schumacher's white karting helmet.
